Today we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served in our military to protect and maintain the freedoms we enjoy as Americans. We know that freedom never comes without a price. From dangerous war zone missions to peacekeeping assignments at home and abroad, veterans put themselves in harm's way and sacrifice time away from family and friends to safeguard countless people they will never meet.
